Sonam Sparkles In A Backless Gown
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Ayesha Nair suggests you put on some shades to read this post
You Wore WHAT!?
India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) - fashion week for jewellery - kicked off and it was... sparkly.
Sonam Kapoor inaugurated the event in an emerald Michael Costello gown. The colour is gorgeous. And that neckline is amazing. If drama is what she was going for then draaamaaahh is what the dress brought.
Since it's all about the jewellery she had on a massive emerald ring and diamond bangles worth only like a few kajillion rupees.
Oh and also emerald earrings.
The highlight was when she turned around. Talk about a backless gown! Only wish she'd have tied her hair up rather than put it in a fishtail braid.
Tennis ace Sania Mirza walked the ramp like a pro. Between the heavy sari and the jewellery let's just say that subtle was not the theme here.
On closer inspection, things looked quite classy, though.
TV actor Karanvir Bohra hit the ramp in salwar that was not made to his size.
With the sarpech (that's the ornament on his turban. I Googled it) he looked like a bad boy prince.
